Telemedicine is considered an integral part of our healthcare system and just like during a regular in-person doctor’s visit, our licensed doctor’s are able to provide you with an official doctor’s note (when medically appropriate), which is equivalent to a doctor’s note obtained in an office-setting. The document will be provided to you by email, but can also be directly faxed to your employer if this is requested.

You will receive the doctor’s note by email within minutes after your consultation with QuickMD. If needed, it may be faxed directly to your employer or school. 

During the COVID-19 emergency we can provide you a note for up to 3 weeks, or until 72 hours after your symptoms have resolved, if medically appropriate. We also provide return-to-work notes to clear you for work, when it is safe to do so. 

Yes, all consultations are 100% confidential. Additionally, our platform is encrypted and fully HIPAA-compliant. If you agree to communication by email for additional information, please note that emails are not always secure.

Yes, you can submit your encounter summary to your insurance and in most cases get reimbursed, and all you pay is your co-pay. Just log into your account and download the encounter summary.
