What is a return to work note?
A return to work note (also known as a health clearance note) is a doctor’s note that will clear a worker or student to go back to work/school after a missing days due to illness or a leave of absence. During COVID-19, employers and schools are increasingly requiring health clearance notes to make sure the employer/student can return in a safe way.
How much does it cost to get a return to work note?

Is the doctor's note legitimate?
Telemedicine is considered an integral part of our healthcare system and just like during a regular in-person doctor’s visit, our licensed doctor’s are able to provide you with an official doctor’s note (when medically appropriate), which is equivalent to a doctor’s note obtained in an office-setting. The document will be provided to you by email, but can also be directly faxed to your employer if this is requested.
How long will it take until I receive the doctor's note?
You will receive the doctor’s note by email within minutes after your consultation with QuickMD. If needed, it may be faxed directly to your employer or school.
Will this be confidential and private?
Yes, all consultations are 100% confidential. Additionally, our platform is encrypted and fully HIPAA-compliant. If you agree to communication by email for additional information, please note that emails are not always secure.
Can I use my insurance?
Yes, you can submit your encounter summary (super bill) to your insurance and in many cases get reimbursed, and all you pay is your co-pay. Just log into your account and download the encounter summary. You may request a super bill from us via our help desk.
